DuckDragon Nice article, thanks. I'm far too young to have been at the IT Festival (I just saw my first show at Dick's this year) but I am a huge fan of the music from that weekend and the lore around the festival (the Tower Jam is nuts). Anyway, one other theory that I have is that the band's Genesis fandom somehow bubbled up to the surface, because the closing song on the magnificent album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (which Phish have cited as a major influence) is called "it."
